No More, No More dance with I’m Yours (radio edit)
Jennifer Choo Sue Chin | September 23, 2008The dance No More, No More is choreographed to the accoustic music of I’m Yours (Jason Mraz). After finalizing the dance, I realised that there’s another version of the same song called the Radio Edit. Compared to the accoustic version, the radio edit version has more musical instruments and background singers and is also very nice. Some prefer the accoustic version, while some prefer the radio edit. I love both 🙂
I’ve tried out the dance with the radio edit song. The song is shorter and has a shorter intro (4×8). Every step is an exact fit to the radio edit song, except, the 8 count then restart part. The radio edit version has NO BEATS during this 8 counts, so dancing the 8 counts will be weird.
To make both dances consistent with each other, I’ve done some variations should you prefer to dance to the radio edit version:
1. Instead of the 8 count then restart, do a 8 count tag instead. After completing the 3rd wall (facing 3:00), simply do a 1/4 turn right by stepping RF to the right side on count 1 and hold till count 8. (facing 6:00) Remember there’re no beats here, so enjoy this 8 count pause! 😀 You may opt to raise both arms at the sides slowly over the eight counts. Get creative. After the 8 count, restart the whole dance again.
2. As the radio edit song is shorter, the dance will end on count 32 while facing 3:00. That is after you finish doing the “Point, Touch, Point, Touch”. Jason will then sing the last “I’m Yours”. To fit with the lyrics, do a 1/4 turn left stepping your LF forward. At the same time, bring both palms in front of your chest and open out your arms towards the front in the gesture of “I’m Yours”.
