New Dance: UN DOS TRES

Jennifer Choo Sue Chin | March 14, 2018

Hello!

A new dance for 2018 from both of us, Jennifer & Jaszmine – UN DOS TRES, song by Sofia Reyes featuring Jason Derulo and De La Ghetto. It’s a catchy piece of music and best of all,  no tags or restarts necessary! It’s a 32 count, 4 wall high beginner/low intermediate level line dance, reggaeton/samba/funky feel. Hope you will enjoy the dance.

Within a day of posting up the dance on Copperknob, several other videos has sprung up too. Thanks for the tremendous support. We’ll be teaching this at the Superheroes Line Dance Jamming at DC Mall (Damansara City Mall) this Sunday (18 March 2018), admission is FREE, hope you can come and join us too!

New Dance: Sexy Baliye (Sexy Lover) 32c4w Improver Line Dance

Jennifer Choo Sue Chin | October 23, 2017

Stepsheet: http://www.copperknob.co.uk/stepsheets/sexy-baliye-sexy-lover-ID121263.aspx

Another new dance this month! In the festive mood for Deepavali, I’ve been asked to share a dance at Seremban Prima’s Purple Bollywood event. And just a day before the event, I came across the current trending music in Bollywood, SEXY BALIYE from the OST of Aamir Khan’s SECRET SUPERSTAR. [I’ve always been a fan of Aamir Khan’s movies, if you remember another of my Bollywood dance Zoobi Doobi from 2011 – also from Aamir Khan’s movie Three Idiots]  Anyway, I wasn’t going to let a good song out of my slip, so quickly choreographed it just in time to teach at the event. I was still playing the song throughout my journey to Seremban to count where the tag and restarts are!

The dance is a 32-count 4-wall improver line dance with a Bollywood flavour. Steps are simple, but do add in some groove and bounce to radiate the Bollywood energy. There are 2 easy restarts and an easy tag which is a repeat of the last 8 counts of the dance.

Enjoy!

New Dance: KEEP ON DANCING (You’ll never grow old)

Jennifer Choo Sue Chin | October 6, 2017

Hello again, it’s been quite some time since I posted any new dance! I’ve been busy and un-motivated to look for music. And this song came to me on FM radio and inspired me to choreograph again. The lyrics “Keep on dancing and you’ll never grow old” spoke right to my heart and pulled my heart strings!

At the same time, Tracy Hoo whom I’ve been having collaborations with for the past 2 years has her event coming up again. We’ve actually identified another song but again, didn’t come round feeling motivated to choreograph to it. But with this song, we met one lunch at a shopping mall, and went to a corner and had this dance completed in 10-15 mins.

The song titled Dance, Dance, Dance was sung by Steve Miller Band and seriously, I’ve not heard of them nor this song before! What a great country song and how it inspired me (and Tracy too!).The only problem was it’s just too short!! So you’ll never get enough of dancing it but to play it another round just to dance it more!

It’s 48 counts and just slightly short of 4 walls, no tags and no restarts, just a simple ending to end the dance at the front wall.

New Dance: Eye in the Sky

Jennifer Choo Sue Chin | April 25, 2017

I was in Singapore last weekend at Angel Chia’s 6th Anniversary Dinner and Dance. I taught a 32c2w int/adv nightclub EYE IN THE SKY and response was really great. The music, a remake from the original Alan Parson’s Project, sung by Achinoam Nini (Noa) is very mesmerizing. I fell in love with the music the moment I heard it. Hope you enjoy it too!
