Over the past weekend, several of us head over across the causeway to Singapore to celebrate Philip Yong’s 70th Birthday Party. What a milestone it is! In case you haven’t the chance to know him yet, Philip is a line dance instructor and choreographer, well admired for dancing into his 70s, officially today!
I was one of the invited guests to his big day to share a dance. He requested for a simple dance and I chose an evergreen beautiful song for him, Close To You by The Carpenters. He loved the song and agreed 🙂
I played the song over and over again, hoping to do the beautiful song some justice. In the end, the outcome was a 32 count 4 wall improver level line dance with a 2 count bridge. Should be simple enough, tempo is slow and easy going.
Hope you enjoyed the dance!
